Statutory Declaration for vehicles valued under $1500.00 (must

Valid Registration from another jurisdiction

Part 2 of previous Alberta Registration (signed by client)
• Previous Out of Province registration/Bill of

• Out of Province Inspection (completed by a
Government Certified Mechanic)
Out of Province Vehicle

What should be included in a "Bill of Sale"?
Date Buyer's Name and Signature Seller's Name and Signature Vehicle Description (make, model,
year and serial number)

An expiry date indicated as "continuous" or "until cancelled"
is not acceptable.

3. Acceptable Identification
Driver's Licence
Passport
and any two of the following:Birth Certificate
Credit Card
Government ID (ie: SIN, Immigration documents) |

Parental Consent
Required if you are under the age of
18 and have never registered a vehicle before.
Exceptions: Self-Supporting or Married |
